About the ONDRP

The National Observatory of Crime and Criminal Justice (ONDRP) is a national agency linked to Prime minister services and headed by an independent council. With its multidisciplinary staff and in association with many partners, the ONDRP measures and analyses crime in France and abroad through the annual French victimization survey, police and justice statistics and data produced by administration services, professional organizations and private bodies. ONDRP’s publications include short and in-depth studies, statistical analyses and criminal research works on many aspects of crime.

The ONDRP is involved in national and international research projects and  works with a wide range of international partners  (UNODC, Eurostat, the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime, etc.).

Given its experience and expertise, the ONDRP has teamed up with the ICCC to carry out the World Homicide Survey.
